1. Routine visual inspections of permanent locations and temporary sites to reveal possible fall hazards
2. Routine behavior based observations to reveal any work procedure that might present fall hazards
3. Careful visual inspections of scaffolds, scaffold footings, scaffold anchors and scaffold tags prior to use
4. Observe fall protection and fall prevention measures set forth by regulatory agencies
5. Utilize proper personal protective equipment as required by your state or federal regulations
6. Consider equipment and machinery hazards that may be underneath or near you while working
7. Consider working surfaces and isles that may cause you or others to slip, trip or fall
